birding chronicles - august

So recently, I've gotten into bird spotting. I'm not an expert or anything but I've been having a lot of fun looking at and recording all the birds I come across when I'm outside. For that purpose, Merlin Bird ID is my best friend. (Not literally, of course.) It's a joy whenever I record a new bird for my Life List.
The problem is that I basically have very little resources to travel and meet all new sorts of birds besides the ones I can spot and listen to within my area. A lot of my entries are repeats but hopefully one day I can go and travel more. For now, I have a bunch of images I took at the park earlier this month.

- Canada geese pecking at the ground. Possibly looking for food.

- A Canada goose loafing in the sun.

- Two Canada geese caught preening by the water's edge.

- Three mallard ducks in a row resting under the shade of a tree.
